Ingredients
- 250 grams soya granules
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 3 onions
- 1 bulb garlic
- ½ inch ginger
- 4-5 green chilies
- 5 tablespoons oil
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ cup chopped coriander
- salt and pepper to taste
- 100 grams semolina or bread-crumbs
Preparation
- Soak soya granules in water for half an hour. Rinse thrice. Keep aside.
- Boil potatoes, cool and mash. Keep aside.
- Grind onion, garlic, ginger and green chilies.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan and add ground masala till it turns transparent.
- Add soya granules. Sauté.
- Add garam masala, turmeric, coriander, salt and pepper. Sauté.
- Add potatoes and cook till done.
- Make into small balls and roll in semolina or bread-crumbs.
- Shallow fry in oil.
