Ingredients
Filling:
- 2 small bowls green peas
- 4-5 green chillies (hot)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- ½ teaspoon mustard seed/rai
- ¼ teaspoon asafoetida/hing
- Salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric/haldi
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
Covering:
- 2 small bowls wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- ½ cup water
- 1½ teaspoons oil
- Oil for frying
Preparation
Filling:
- Crush green peas.
- Crush green chillies.
- Warm oil in kadai.
- Fry mustard seed and asafoetida.
- Add green peas and chillies and cook on low flame, stirring continuously.
- Add salt, turmeric, lime juice, sugar and garam masala and mix well.
Covering:
- Kneed dough of flour, salt, water and oil.
- Shape into rounds and fill with green peas mixture.

Deep fry.
Serve hot with chutney and sauce.
