Ingredients
- 1 cup raw papaya
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds/rai
- ½ teaspoon asafoetida/hing
- 1 tablespoon green chilli, chopped
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon lime juice
- Salt
- ½ teaspoon coriander, chopped
Preparation
- Wash raw papaya, peel the skin, grate it and keep it aside.
- Heat oil and add mustard seeds. Add asafoetida and grated papaya. Sauté for 3-4 minutes till the papaya is tender.
- Add green chillies, turmeric powder, lime juice, salt and coriander leaves.

Serve as a side dish.
